Gabrielle Hope - Me and you

There's me and you, you and me

And both of us, guess that makes we

And me and you will never be apart

I knew you were the only one

When you said that you liked

My momma's orange Italian knitted scarf.

And I like the way your face is held

By coveralls and button-ups

And the oil from your truck when it won't start

You like the way I play the strings

And cartwheel when I can't think of things

And you like the way my hair falls in its part.

There's me and you, and you and me

And both of us, guess that makes we

And me and you will never be apart

I'm your lover, I'm your friend

It's me and you to the end

Till we're both so deaf, we can't hear each other talk.

But I won't care, I'll hold your hand

We'll eat ice cream and sit in sand

Tap three times to tell her you know what.

I love you

There's me and you, and you and me

And both of us, guess that makes we

And me and you will never be apart.

That was the best I love you song I've ever heard. And you vibe delightful and innocent. The look of you, the sound of you, your style the way you put that together. I would sacrifice myself to protect you from any harm. This makes my heart happy. I can’t put into words the feelings this gives me.

In the video notes it is said:

"Gabrielle Hope was born in the mountains of Tennessee, she later relocated Shenandoah Valley, VA when she was 13.  She learned to sing in church and drew inspiration from the mountain music and old gospel hymns that would eventually go on to be the building blocks for country music and ballads that we hear today.  Gabrielle is looking to bring light to the traditional Appalachian sounds that have been lost and forgotten over time. She enjoys traditional folk music and draws inspirations from Jean Ritchie Richie, Sierra Ferrell, and Sibylle Baire."
